About us
Déficit Cero is a collaborative platform that brings together various social, academic, public, and private actors. It was created by TECHO-Chile and the Cámara Chilena de la Construcción, with the purpose of working together to solve the housing deficit problem. Déficit Cero has an ambitious goal: by the end of this decade, it aims for all families in Chile to have access to dignified and adequate housing.
OUR GOAL
We want families in Chile to have access to decent and adequate housing. This involves working with municipalities, local authorities, and the private sector to advance towards zero housing deficit.
MISSION
Our mission is to address the housing crisis comprehensively and collaboratively, bringing together various actors, including social, academic, public, and private organizations. We seek to develop responsible public policy proposals that respond to different families' needs and improve not only housing access but also access to the city, education, health, and security.
